How does somebody that's quite good at DIY remodel their own kitchen? Well - I wish that I had a pound or dollar every time somebody asked me that question. I could have retired by now but I’m still having to work.
Luckily, I work for my self and enjoy every minute, meeting lots of different types of clients from all walks of life and making their homes a nicer place to live in. I have always enjoyed the pleasure in seeing my clients face light up, (No I don't wire up their bodies to the electric supply).
But with the recession that has been forced on to us over the last couple of years, especially by people who are earning vast amount of salaries and not a care about the working person.
O boy! DON'T GET ME INTO POLITICS.
Right- back to the recession, because of this large repairs around their homes has had to take a back seat, they can be expensive and they don't want to use too much of their savings right now.
Well - being a working person, I don't like spending too much money either, that's why I have always done my repairs and been very successful, So much so I started my own business many years ago in property maintenance. I now specialise in designing, remodelling and installing bespoke Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms and have done so for many years.
Its becoming that time in life I need to think about my retirement over the next couple of years and with my son being an IT manager and my daughter working with special needs children, they are in no need of my wealth of experience. They know if there is a problem they just need to call DAD…..NOT AGAIN! But I quite happily go and sort it out.
Well that's my introduction next chapter coming soon.
